Assembly. If you would be interested in this
time to share and pray together before your
start youre busy day, please see Peggy Simmons. |

The Teller Ministry Needs Your
Cooperation |
|
|
In an effort to
streamline the Sunday morning service leading up
to our pastor's message, we are going to try
having just one offering. To help the
volunteer teller committee do its job,
please do the following:
1. Use the envelopes provided by the church and write your
offering amount on the envelope. Our financial
secretary uses the envelopes as a paper backup
for posting contributions. When you drop in a
loose check, the teller committee has to fill
out an envelope for the loose check. If you
don't put an amount, the tellers have to write
the amount on the outside of the envelope. This
is a time-consuming process for our volunteers.
2. Do not include offerings for two or more accounts in the
same envelope. Again, the tellers have fill out
another envelope.
3. Do not write just one check with directions that portions
go to two or more different accounts. More
bookkeeping headaches. Please write two checks
and use two envelopes.
4. When giving a love offering or designating an offering for
a particular account, use one of the envelopes
provided in the pews and write the purpose of
the offering on the outside. This will help the
tellers avoid depositing an offering into a
wrong account and will help the financial
secretary with the record keeping.
5. If you are making a memorial/in honor of gift, please
denote that on the outside of your envelope or
include a note in your envelope.
Thank you! |
